1. Who we are
CloudTech is a trade name of Chainpoint, Corp. (“Chainpoint”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Panama and registered with the Public Registry of Panama (Registro Público de Panamá) under Mercantile Folio No. 155788022, with its registered address at Calle 52, Campo Alegre, Avenida Ricardo Arango, P.H. Mónica, Piso 1, Local 2, Bella Vista, Panama City, Republic of Panama.
Chainpoint, Corp. acts as the data controller for personal information collected through this website, cloud-tech.one (the “Website”). We process personal information in accordance with Panamanian Law No. 81 of 26 March 2019 on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).
2. Scope of this policy
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Website or contact us about the CloudTech platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It covers the Website only. The CloudTech payment platform itself is provided to clients under separate written agreements, which include their own data-processing terms.
3. Information we collect
The Website has no user accounts and no contact forms, and we deliberately keep the information we collect to a minimum:
- Technical and log data. When you visit the Website, our hosting infrastructure and our content-delivery and security provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
- Information you choose to share. If you contact us through Telegram or another channel, we receive the information you provide — for example your name, Telegram username, company, and the contents of your message.
- Business contact information. If we enter into discussions about the CloudTech platform, we may collect the business contact details needed to prepare a proposal or an agreement.
We do not collect payment card data through the Website, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers on it.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- operate, secure, and maintain the Website, including protection against abuse and attacks;
- respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about the CloudTech platform;
- prepare proposals, demos, and agreements you have requested;
- comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We rely on the following legal bases: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract; your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Website and developing our business; and compliance with legal obligations. We do not use personal information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
5. Who receives your information
Access to personal information is limited to the people and providers who need it for the purposes above:
- our personnel involved in responding to your enquiry;
- service providers that operate the Website infrastructure, including hosting and Cloudflare (content delivery and security);
- Telegram Messenger Inc., when you choose to contact us via Telegram (your use of Telegram is governed by Telegram’s own privacy policy);
- professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit) under confidentiality obligations;
- public authorities, where disclosure is required by applicable law or a binding request.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process technical data outside the Republic of Panama. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with this policy and applicable law, including contractual safeguards with our providers.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy — for correspondence, for the duration of our discussions and any subsequent business relationship — or for as long as applicable law requires. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymised.
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of traffic to the Website (TLS), access controls, and hardened infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review and improve our measures on an ongoing basis.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request erasure of your personal information;
- object to or request restriction of processing;
- request portability of information you have provided to us;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority — in Panama, the National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
10. Children
The Website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, is always available on this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Website.
